A couple of links for those who like to keep track of asset performance.
First, The Chart Store, a subscription-based service that has over 5,000 charts and that offers as free samples a weekly scoreboard and a monthly scoreboard of major U.S. stock indexes, interest rates, commodities (spot), and currencies. The weekly scoreboard shows the change for the week, year to date, and from 52 weeks ago in $ and in %. The monthly scoreboard shows percent change for the month, the last 3 months, the year to date, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years.
Second, the World Bank publishes annual, quarterly, and monthly averages of commodity prices--the so-called pink sheet. It is issued monthly.
